We praise the Lord for using us in many ways in 2006. We taught the first semester at Rio Grande Bible Institute (RGBI) in Texas on the Mexican border. In April we flew down to Guatemala to provide music for the inauguration of the new president of the Guatemala Bible Seminary in Chimaltenango. We also had several opportunities to minister in key churches in the capital and also at the School of Sacred Music at Central American Theological Seminary.
In May we traveled down to central Mexico to lead the music at the annual Pastors and Leaders conference for Bible churches. The need to emphasize missions was the theme. Some will be going to minister in the Middle East. We led the worship services and also wrote a song based on Micah which we used in July at two music camps in Mexico. We ministered in a number of churches in Mexico, but especially enjoyed working with the planting of a new church in Puebla along side our son Tim and his wife Debbie.
In late August we began our 19,000 mile Home Assignment trip to report to many supporters and churches. Our former student, Pastor Kike, flew up from Guatemala to accompany us for three months. He returned home to minister in camps and conferences during December. We are ending the year in Oregon with our daughter Linnea and in Washington with our son Jonathan. In both places we will minister in churches and also have quality family time. In early January we will drive back to RGBI in Texas for the new school year in the Department of Music.
We wish you a very Merry Christmas. Thanks to you for your very special part in our ministry of music and thanks be to God for His unspeakable gift, Jesus Christ. May the Lord that saves and guards our souls be your Shepherd and Guide for the New Year.
With hearts full of gratitude,
